Arab and North African Society: President

With two years of experience on the committee, most recently as Media Co-lead, I have developed an understanding of the society's operations, values, and potential for growth. I recognise our society's role in fostering a strong sense of community and empowerment among our members. 

In addition to my society involvement, I've actively supported students as a Biomedical Engineering Student Ambassador and Transition Mentor. My leadership roles as Head Girl at my secondary school and as the UK Ambassador for the Egyptian Ministry of Emigration Youth Dialogue Centre have equipped me with the necessary skills for effective leadership and collaboration.

Looking ahead, I'm enthusiastic to leverage my diverse experiences to enhance our society's offerings. I'm particularly excited to establish career opportunities, facilitate alumni networking, and reintroduce Arabic classes to enrich our members' cultural and linguistic experiences. Moreover, I am committed to giving back to the broader community through hosting frequent charity and fundraising events. I will strive to connect with other cultural societies to broaden our network. These initiatives align with my vision of enhancing our members' experiences and contributing to our society's growth and impact within our community.

As president, I will prioritise diligently serving our community and ensuring member satisfaction. Together, I'm confident that we can achieve remarkable progress and further strengthen our vibrant community!
