I am applying to the position of Treasurer for UCL's Amnesty International Society as a dedicated student pursuing a degree in Politics, Sociology & East European Studies, deeply committed to promoting human rights and social justice, making me particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause within the university community.
I have developed a keen interest in understanding socio-political dynamics and advocating for marginalized communities. My coursework has equipped me with analytical skills and critical thinking abilities that I believe will be invaluable in effectively managing the finances of the society. Additionally, my involvement in various extracurricular activities has honed my leadership and organizational skills, preparing me to take on the responsibilities associated with the role of Treasurer.
