First and foremost I'd like to say I am so proud of this team and what we have achieved this year. I couldn't have asked for a better set of people to play alongside this year (even though I've missed half of it!).

I am running for the position of Treasurer for the second year in a row. I now have a year under my belt, so fully understand the workings of the committee as well as the role of treasurer. I have always inputted forms promptly, and ensured that the clubs budgeting is sufficient, including ensuring that the rollover for next year won't damage the club in the long run. On top of this, I have been active within the committee, contributing to more than just the bare minimum as required by my role, dealing with a large proportion of the workings with sponsors and helping to organise training pitches, to name just a few things.

As I said last year, I originally got accepted into a tax accountancy apprenticeship which I declined to come to university, so I am well versed in dealing with the numbers, if this year hadn't been sufficient evidence of that.

I understand that it is highly likely I will be on a year abroad next year, but I am confident that I can deliver on my duties as treasurer in a remote fashion, and remain a key contributor to the running of the society even overseas, much like Archie has been able to do this year.

Whether you decide to elect me again or not, I love this society and all the people who make it, and I am so lucky to be a part of the team.
