My sole aim as welfare officer will be to foster an environment where every member feels valued, supported, and heard. My vision within the Ahlul-bayt Society is to advocate for the mental well-being of all members especially during times where balancing event planning and studies can become difficult. I am aware first hand as to how easy it is to become burnt out; however I pledge to recognise these signs and remind members to take a break when needed.
Whether it's just offering a listening ear, organising support groups, or connecting members to professional assistance, I will ensure that everyone has access to the help they require. I will uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and transparency in all my interactions in order to create an environment of trust and positive mindsets.
