Women in Finance Society: Head of Sponsorship

As FYR of WinF, I had the privilege of attending an EY Female Leadership event which was incredibly insightful and inspiring for someone new to finance. Such opportunities grant WinF members crucial exposure as they navigate their career decisions. Sponsorship forms the backbone of these events and I want to spearhead the division to support our members’ career ambitions. Through participating actively in WinF, I have gained insights into the society and I see many opportunities, especially regarding sponsorship. They are encapsulated in my goals for the role:

Targeting External Stakeholders

• Reinforce and enhance relationships with current sponsors
• Expand our sponsorship base to include other categories such as fintech and insurance 
• Work closely with sponsors, partners and Head of Events to organise impactful events that provide insights into the financial industry, boost financial literacy and develop in-demand skills like data analytics 

Targeting Internal Stakeholders

• Empower and support sponsorship executives and FYRs to contribute meaningfully to securing sponsorship
• Collaborate with sponsors on WinF merchandise to create shared sense of belonging 
• Continue the legacy of exceeding previous years’ sponsorship rates 

With my strong communication and organisational skills, sponsorship experience in UCL Singapore Society and student council, and passion to give back to WinF, I am confident that I can bring WinF to new heights as your next Head of Sponsorship.
