Chào everyone! ? 

I’m Linh, a first-year student studying Global Humanitarian Studies and I’m running for welfare officer. I’ve had so much fun meeting fellow Vietsoc members who have helped me navigate and adjust to university life which made me realise the importance of a tight-knit community. With the help of the committee, I aim to promote more engagement by putting you guys at the centre of the decision-making process via a more consistent communication system catered to your needs. I would also like to help make reaching out less daunting by suggesting a mentor-mentee arrangement. My experiences as a project manager, a pastoral prefect and a humanitarian major have taught me to be a team member who is organised, insightful and attentive. Thus, I hope to be an approachable and reliable member who you can rant to and help you resolve matters objectively. As a new university student, I empathise entirely with how intimidating it can be, especially as an international student. Therefore, I would like to help ensure a friendly environment that is chill, comfortable and at the same time, lively and entertaining for everyone.
