Joining RUMS tennis has been one of the best decisions I've made this year. It's not only been so much fun attending the socials, playing tennis matches, and going to sports nights but I've also met some truly amazing people. All members of the club have been my support and rock this year, which I am forever grateful for!

Having proudly been elected Fresher of Tour (my spirit is captured in the photo from tennis tour with me ready and excited to play some tennis) and attended every sports night, I have gotten to know many members of the club really well which will help me next year when planning events for everyone to enjoy. Of course following the established traditions is important so you have my word that tour, curry nights and pub crawls will be unforgettable as ever! Some things I’d want to introduce next year if I am elected would be more non-drinking socials in collaboration with Welfare once every few weeks to get the chance to get to know each other better and make it to the morning lectures the day after. To help the freshers get to know the older years, I also aim to implement the RUMS family tournament into tennis which would be a great icebreaker in the beginning of the year.

Working together with the Committee I am sure we will have another amazing year as a club, and I would love to be a part of it!
