Would be fun I think
Acting as Education Officer for the last year was a privilege but, frankly, I am still hungry for more education. When people ask me if the Education role is really necessary, I stop in my tracks, put down my racket, drop my balls, clench my fists, raise my head up high and exclaim: “Of course it is!! Smarter players make smarter decisions when on the court. The key to a successful tennis club lies within the ability of its members to proficiently incorporate the right knowledge at the right time.”
Tennis is undoubtedly a mental game where physical strength can only take you so far, thus, I strive to equip each of our team members’ arsenal with the deadliest weapon of all: intellectual intimidation.
My goals for the next year:
· Recruit an outstanding tutor workforce throughout Y3-6 to provide a pool of unmatched expertise in delivering tutorials
· Repeat the vast array of preclinical tutorials already delivered this year
· Facilitate the smooth operation of the annual successful mOSCE circuit for our finalists
· Introduce a *brand new* Y2 CPSA circuit to provide extra in depth practice before summative exams
· Coordinate with our social media secretary to publish weekly RUMS Tennis memes for the wellbeing of our club members
Lastly, some quotes:

I am Thomas Luo, a Year 4 graduate medical student. I stand for the Education Officer to provide academic support for RUMS Tennis members. I will be in Year 5 next year and therefore I will be very familiar with the entire MBBS curriculum and can provide tailored help for preclinical and clinical students. I will run alternating weekly tutorials for preclinical and clinical year students. Previously, I had a BSc Biomedical Sciences degree specialising in Neuroscience and a publication in the CNS journal Neurosurgery.
