Tamil Society: President

Taking on the role of president would be a large responsibility that I won’t take lightly. If you know me, you’ll I can’t say no to a motive, which means I know a good night out and I’m looking to share that with the rest of the society. As a relatively new society, I would be looking start the academic year with plenty of socials right from the get go, giving students the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their culture. As someone who is passionate about the Tamil language I think it would be great run workshops and experiment with some fun, new ways to get people learning! Currently I am one of the Vice Presidents for this society so I have a good grasp of how things are done and would be able to support the rest of the committee as we organise and events and games nights to come.
