Taekwondo Club: President

I'm standing for UCL Taekwondo president as I want to continue forward the fun and friendly atmosphere that we have as a club into the next year for our new members. I believe that UCL Taekwondo is unique in our environment that we provide for our members and the care and support we all show towards each other whether on or off the mat. I've been part of the club for 3 years and this year was my first year as a poomsae coach and being on the committee as welfare officer. It has allowed me to get to get to know all of the members of the club whether c, b or a class and form connections and friendships with everyone which I am extremely grateful for. Being welfare officer also this year, has meant that I could become a trustworthy person to all our members and I hope that everyone feels they can approach me with any worries, concerns or joys they have. I would wish to take forward these skills that I've learnt this year into the president role. My biggest goal as president would be to beat the Southampton record and get our 7th win which would be a brand new record!
