Yiming Sun

I want to nominate myself for the position of Kit and Marketing Officer because I hope to use my art designing and organisational skills to contribute to the club. Although my current area of study is not related to this position, I have rich experiences in doing similar roles. During high school, I was the first-ever House Prefect and established the House system. I used to post event information in my house group chat (50+ people). Furthermore, I increased the house event participation rate from 20% to 80% and led my House to win the house cup. As House Prefect, I was responsible for designing posters and merchandise, as well as purchasing props for events which are similar to the role of Kit and Marketing Officer. As a result, I have experience in designing using Canva, communicating with various people, and ordering items online. For me, this role is a chance to further develop my organisational skills and make friends with everyone. I am looking forward to be part of the committee.
