Students for Justice in Palestine Society: Treasurer

I am standing because I want to ensure this society runs smoothly and prevent any financial problems from arising. I want to help the committee organise the events that the members of this society love and will remember throughout their uni experience.

As Treasurer, I would provide transparency and accountability in all financial matters. I would ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date and that all financial transactions are compliant with SU regulations. I would also work closely with the committee team to develop budgets that align with the organisation's strategic priorities and to identify opportunities to optimise financial performance. 

I am also a team player who is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. I am able to work collaboratively with colleagues from different departments to achieve common goals and secure deals. 

Overall, I believe as treasurer I could effectively budget and provide enough funding to host large, memorable events that will bring people together for a just cause and help make this society even bigger.
