Statistics Society: Marketing Executives

Hello there people! 

I am Adlina, a first year in BSc Data Science.

Coming from a statistics background, I am really grateful for the existence of the Statistics Society! I appreciate how all the events are catered to fit even people with no statistical background to get a head start and understand the various application of statistics.

As a marketing executive, I am aiming to reach out to more people and share with them the interesting facts and wonder that statistics offer.

My aim for society as a marketing executive

1. Make society more accessible to people outside of the Statistics community and have them always feel welcome to join in
2. Creating meaningful graphics and postings to get people hooked on the useful theorems in statistics that are used in everyday life
3. Reaching out to more people of various backgrounds through statistics!
4. Mitigate the perspective that statistics are only for nerds (They’re in fact for cool people ?)

I really admire the work of the past marketing team as their feed/ promotions really catch your eye

I aspire to work with like-minded people in the Statistics society, and given my skills in Canva and Flourish, I am confident I’ll be the right fit for the position.
