Isha Aggarwal

Hi, I'm Isha a first-year medical student. I have been coming to squash since starting UCL and I truly feel that it is greatly run club and always harbours a very social and inclusive atmosphere. For this reason, it continues to grow, year on year. I have enjoyed meeting new people through playing team matches and attending social squash sessions. It is this great ethos of UCL squash club that encouraged me to apply for the role as treasurer. I would love the opportunity to be able to represent and grow the club.

I have the necessary skillset to manage the clubs’ finances, having had experience related to budgeting for numerous events such as for fundraisers and I believe that my strong inter-personal skills will be valuable in liaising to find new potential sponsors. This role is something I know I will find enjoyable and rewarding.  

I value transparency and organisation with the club's finances which will increase the capability for the society to flourish and hold new events in the upcoming year. I am fully committed to UCL squash club and if I were to be elected as treasurer, it would be a great privilege to represent such a friendly and inclusive club which I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of.
