Snowsports Club: External Relations Officer

Hi! I'm Alex, and I'm currently in my first year doing HPE, going into my second in the 23/24 academic year. I'd like to consider myself as a friendly, outgoing and passionate individual, always happy to help those around me with whatever situation they find themselves in.

Firstly, I would like to argue that I'm a very fitting candidate for this role. With regards to my profile, I have plenty of experience in working with sponsors for events. I currently work for an UK-based Afghan Charity as a Political Communications Intern. A lot of my work has consisted of organising many cultural events, where ensuring sponsorship has been a top priority in event planning. Working with different charities has of course additionally been a major factor of my position. Therefore, with my extensive experience in working with exterior partners, I believe this is a role perfectly suited to my profile. 

In terms of how I would like to push this role forward, I believe that publishing our sponsorship advantages should be our foremost concern. From an economic point of view, at least. Therefore, developing our publications and ensuring our reach is as wide as possible would be a significant factor of my contribution to the society. I regard myself to be an effective team player, thus, I would be working closely and diligently with my other colleagues and, most importantly, our president, to ensure that the financial side to our society is run in the most efficient way possible.
