Chiranjeev Kurana

The Sikh community has always held a special place in my university life. I believe that this position will allow me to give back to a wonderful community, while developing and displaying my own leadership and organisational skills.

One of the primary reasons why I am interested in this position is my deep commitment. As Social Secretary, I would work to create popular events and initiatives that bring members together, provide opportunities for bonding and connection and create a space for meaningful dialogue and discussion. In addition to my passion for community building, I also possess strong  communication skills and I am highly detail-oriented who is able to manage complex challenges and timelines efficiently. Whether it's drafting event invitations or coordinating with external organisations, I am confident that I could excel in this role.

Finally, I am motivated to take on this position because I believe in bringing people within the community together and other societies via events. We can create a community that is more compassionate, supportive and fulfilling. As Social Secretary, I would work continuous to make this vision a reality, bringing my skills, passion  and creativity to the role. Overall, I am excited about the prospect of serving as Sikh Society Social Secretary to make a meaningful impact in this role and I am eager to begin this journey with the support of the community and its wonderful members.
