It’s been a true privilege to be your Welfare Officer over the past academic year; as we look forward to next year, I hope that you can trust in me to continue supporting our RAX community. A good welfare officer doesn’t just promote good mental health, but also promotes positive behaviour, provides a smiling face and a shoulder to lean on, as well as just good general vibes. It’s been so fun to get to know all of you RAX-ers over the past year, and to watch our community grow as we welcomed new members, took on new challenges and broke new PBs. BUCS was a real highlight for me, it was great to see such team spirit!

RAX is all about the people. And what great people you are! I’ve done my best to support you all by hosting Welfare teas, sending positive messages, general tips and signposting helpful resources to boost and improve your mental health. If you honour me with re-election, I'll continue all of these activities, and also hope to set up two panel events on positive body image and equality in sport over the forthcoming year.

I love running with you all, and look forward to many more runs to come. If you have any questions, concerns, or even feedback on how I can do better, my door (as always) is open.

Peace and love, Conor.
