Population Health Sciences Society: Welfare Officer

As a society concerned with learning about and addressing general issues in population health, the priority first and foremost should be taking care of the mental and physical wellbeing of society members. In the advent of this new society, an open, inclusive and friendly atmosphere should be the first thing we strive for. It may often feel daunting to come to someone with issues regarding other society members, how things are run, or general uni troubles, but I am always someone who will listen and address your concerns, no matter how minor you may think they are. On top of this, I aim to advocate for frequent wellbeing and social events such as through collaborations with mindful societies; meditation sessions, talks and yoga and socials such as pub trips, picnics and chats over tea.
