I believe that having best coordination possible can result in improvements in all aspects of the organisation. When the event organisation part can get along well with the treasury, welfare and marketing parts, this is when great meetings can happen. In my view, I can serve as a necessary binding factor that can help make more things happen at the polish society.

Jan Olechowski

Dear fellow Members,

I am standing for the position of Vice-President of the UCL Polish Society because I am passionate about promoting Polish culture and connecting with fellow Polish students. I am a first-year Politics and Sociology student at SSEES. As someone interested in politics, I understand the importance of building strong and inclusive communities. The Polish Society provides an opportunity to bring together students of Polish heritage and those interested in Polish culture to share experiences, ideas, and knowledge.

I believe that food and art are an integral part of Polish culture, and I will work to organize events that showcase these aspects of our heritage. Additionally, I am committed to creating opportunities for students to learn about Poland's rich history and contemporary social and political issues. I would strongly focus on the further development of the UCL Leaders conference. I will work with the society's leadership to strengthen our connections with other Polish student organizations in London, the UK, and across the world. I will also support efforts to build bridges with other student societies at UCL and promote greater understanding and appreciation of our diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about promoting and celebrating Polish culture and building a strong community around our country.

I am a foodie, a passionate skier and I love good wine. Born and raised in Warsaw, a huge Legia Warszawa fan.

Thank you for every vote!
