Pole Fitness Club: Social Media Manager

Having now been a part of pole fitness society for a year and a half now, I have been able to see the changes in my strength both physically and mentally. Joining this sport has allowed me to grow outside my comfort zone as well as make new incredible friends, and I would love to be your new social media manager to keep celebrating your wins and inviting in new members to our family. I enjoy creating content for social media and will ensure the rest of UCL is enticed to come join in our fun. I can only hope to continue the success pole fitness society’s social media has had under the wonderful Diane and continue the incredible work this years committee has done!

I first joined the society in 2013, when I did my first MSc at UCL and, being still here 10 years after, while on my PhD, only shows how in love I am with the society, the supportive and empowering atmosphere it fosters and the people that make it so great. Hosting the 2023 Bloomsbury Spring Showcase gave me the opportunity to witness the full power of members’ talents and inspired me to take an active role in contributing to shaping the society and making it an even better space by joining the committee. I strongly believe that my love for pole, my commitment to full inclusivity, my interest and experience with social media, my effective communication skills and, above all, my passion for supporting and empowering people, would make me a great social media manager. As I am currently working as a Social Media Executive and carrying out research on Social Media platforms, I am very experienced with leading social media engagement campaigns and understand the impact of posting to achieve specific effects. I would continue to use the society’s platform to promote socials, activities, and initiatives. Additionally, I would like to work on using the platform to also showcase members’ achievements and journeys and to share educational infographics.
