Music Society: Vice President

Hi Music Society. I’m Lottie and I’m a Second year Ancient World Student. I have been part of the society for the last two years and I am very excited to apply for the position of Vice-President this year. As a current committee member as Chamber Choir Manager, I have gained invaluable experience in organising and managing concerts, updating choir members in weekly email blasts and I was heavily involved in choosing our new conductor. I have also supported the Symphony Chorus and Orchestra Managers in general admin tasks and post-concert duties.

I am currently organising a summer tour to Malta for Chamber Choir singers, and I have planned many the pub social, which were all very fun. I have also integrated further into music society due to my role in the opera, learning how to time manage and collaborate across the committee. I have also started creating the opera merch for this year which is preparing me to design some funky merch for next year. The opera is a highlight for many of us in Music Society and I hope my experience both on and off the stage this year will help the society moving forward.

I have a strong desire to work alongside the President and our Social Secs to expand our events to all members of the Society, with more pub trips, music themed parties, continuing music families and other exciting events.

I am excited about the prospect of working together to create more memorable experiences for UCL Music Society and look forward to seeing you all soon! :))
