Mental Health Society: Events Officer

 I have struggled with mental health issues in the past so I know what it’s like to be in need of a supportive community and I feel that as an events officer I would be able to organize and arrange different events that I wish someone would have given me the change to attend such as talks on dealing with various mental health issues and workshops by professionals including therapists and psychologists on different coping mechanisms in order to bring some light onto the issues of mental health and taking care of ourselves especially given that UCL is such a global university and so many people such as myself are away from home for the first time and it can be so easy to struggle with bad mental health
