Lebanese Society: Welfare Officer

Hey! I'm Natalie and I'm in my second-year at UCL, studying Psychology with Education. I would like to nominate myself for the position of Welfare Officer in the Lebanese Society. Being half Lebanese, I have attended multiple events organised by the society in these last two years at university, from pub nights to hummus cooking classes, and have felt nothing but love and positivity each time. The society is full of people who share a common love for the beautiful Lebanese culture and I would love to be able to contribute to maintaining the warm and accepting nature of the society as Welfare Officer. I understand how hard it can be to move to a new country and be far from loved ones, and so I would like the Lebanese Society to be a space for Lebanese (and anyone really!) to find like-minded people from similar backgrounds as them, in order for it to feel like a home away from home!
