Lebanese Society: PR and Marketing Officer

Marketing has always been interesting to me. Thinking of new creative ways to reach out to your given audience, promoting new products and events, it opens the realm of creativity while remaining in the business world. Being part of the Lebanese society gives me a sense of pride. I love the idea of promoting events to be a part of a community that exemplifies unity and strength. I believe that I would be a valuable asset to the Lebanese society as part of the Marketing and PR team as I am a hardworker and am determined to accurately represent the Lebanese Society and what we stand for.

I am currently a first year student at UCL and I joined the Lebanese Society on my first week. I am Lebanese and I thought that joining the society would help me meet people that I might relate to more. Attending the events has allowed me to make very close and has made me feel more connected to my home. It is for these reasons that I would love to be more involved in the society next year. In high school I managed the social media accounts of the National Honor Society and STEM club for 2 years. I was responsible in spreading information to the rest of the school about events or projects that the societies were running. Therefore, I have experience in this role and think I am well suited for it. I think that my creativity will help in creating engaging posts and my organization skills will be beneficial in ensuring that communication is successful.
