I've always liked the idea of going as fast as I can, and I love competition. Before I started to seriously watch Formula 1 the year Rosberg lifted the title, I had already enjoyed karting. However, as I am from Hong Kong, there aren't many opportunities to kart. This meant that the only time I had access to karting was during the summer, where I would be in England. The slight problem is that I was too young, and the karts were too slow. I fell in love with karting again this academic year, where I have a TeamSport club membership. I tried to join UCL karting events, but either it costed too much for a race and I believed I was better off karting with my own membership, or the spots were taken so quickly I did not have a chance. As a hopeful welfare officer for next year, I hope to be able to tend to the needs of all of the many karting club members, in an ever-growing fanbase of karting and Formula 1. Alongside other committee members, most importantly the events executive, I hope to be able to create and organize a greater volume and variety of events that all karting members can enjoy. Of course, karting is not a cheap hobby, but I am willing to devote a great amount of time needed to give karting club members the best experience possible next year. Thanks for your consideration.

I’m interested in formula 1 and motor sports in general. I'm also excited to help run future karting events and socials.
