K-POP Society: Dance Events Officer

Dance Events Officer is a new position that myself and the rest of this year’s committee members agreed on, partially due to the sheer workload and responsibilities I currently have as this year’s Events Officer. My reason for running is simple :3 I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Events, but as this is a new role, this will offer a somewhat different experience to my current role, whilst still being similar enough that my skills are transferable :3 If I were your Dance Events Officer, I would: 

- ensure that weekly dance classes are running smoothly and handle sign ups efficiently

- enlist cover leaders and monitor the progress of dance covers throughout the year

- organise our favourite social (and one I have hosted many times previously)…Random Play Dance!! 

- reach out to other societies for dance-related events

- liaise with our Tech Officers to ensure events do not clash with their own schedules and that equipment and filming are well-planned
