Jazz Society: Small Bands Manager

Three things:

1. My passion for Jazz music in general, which I can write about reasons why I love about jazz forever.. the music of liberation and its endless creativity.. 

2. My will of making positive changes to the UCL jazz community ( don't take me wrong, it has been great already.) specifically however, I intend to make our events more diverse and welcoming( ( as an international student and an ethnic minority in this country myself) as well as more rookie-friendly e.g the workshop and jams.

3. Kind of boastful, I believe I have always been a people person, so I will make sure to dedicate time and energy to manage my responsibilities as small band manager. My understanding of the role is that it will make sure every small bands ensemble runs smoothly especially the IOE ones, and coordinating moving equipments etc.. I believe I am fit for this role because I have had relevant experiences attending to these jams and helped moving equipments. Thanks to my beloved Asian culture, growing up I had been taught how to be responsible for the roles I am taking. Therefore I am confident I will make sure things run smoothly.
