Jazz Society: Media and Publicity Manager

I’ve very much enjoyed being a part of Jazz Soc this year—especially helping to produce the Blooms show and getting into publicity, graphic design and communications for Jazz. I learned a lot from being producer for Jazz Through The Eras, including the best ways to promote an event and encourage involvement around campus. I’d like to get more involved, and help Jazz Soc have the best publicity (and the most unbeatable graphic design) possible!

I am standing for media and publicity manager because I think its the best way I can get involved in the jazz committee with my skills!

In the last two years, I have been getting involved in jazz society, singing at the jam and going to workshops. I'd like to get even more involved next year and contribute to the society more also, as part of the committee. 

I have experience in social media, which would obviously be an asset as media officer! This includes creating posts, stories etc. I think one way to make sure we reach as many people as possible is constant social media presence, which could be done with some new styles of posts, such as song of the week being on social media as well!

I have some fun ideas and hope to be able to implement them next year!
