Stephanie Chuang

Hi! I am Stephanie, a first-year sociology student from Hong Kong, and I would love to be the social secretary for the In Aid of UNICEF society next year. Having worked with UNICEF in my high school for 4 years, I completely support and understand the mission of UNICEF, and want to amplify this message in our school community. Our community needs to support organizations that provide humanitarian aid in uncertain times and support for children should always be a priority.

Our support for the organization is just as important as our community within UCL. With experience in hosting events for my high school’s UNICEF club, I can utilize my leadership and communication skills to organize socials and activities that will beneficial for the members and the wider society. Building a strong community can not only help us connect with like-minded people, but also create a stronger presence and influence in our school to make a larger impact. I would propose hosting socials like movie screenings festive celebrations, as well as activities which connect the UNICEF societies from universities in London which can be helpful in possible intercollegiate events that can be beneficial for UNICEF. Some socials can also be more open for non-members to increase participation and awareness which is always important in making a difference. If I get this opportunity, I will work hard to make socials fun for our members, so I hope you vote for me!
