I am interested in applying for the Secretary position for the Immunology Society. As someone who is currently studying Cancer Biomedicine, I am constantly learning about the latest advances in immunology as well as immunotherapy research. I believe that this knowledge will be valuable in supporting the President of the Immunology Society. I am excited to give future Immunology Society members the opportunity to learn more about this field. Stemming from the Cancer Biomedicine course, I hope to bring a unique perspective on  immunology through the lens of cancer and share my passion with the UCL community. A personal interest is the CAR T cells and their future prospect in immunotherapy in combatting cancer.

Besides my academic passion for immunology, having past experience of working as a vice president for Interact, a club dedicated to helping ease some of the issues outlined by the UN SDG, has allowed me to develop a strong leadership skill as well as experience with event organisation.

I am eager to work closely together with the President and other members of the leadership team to develop and execute future research seminars and other events. I believe that my combination of strong work ethic, experience, and passion for immunology make me a strong candidate for the role of Secretary.
