Hockey Club (Women's): Tour Secretary

Hi there, I'm Bethany from the 3s! I'm running for tour sec this year because apart from hockey, holidays are my favourite thing in the world. I also love organising, which feels like the most important thing here. A couple of examples from my organisation palmares include: a 3 week road trip across Europe with my 2 best friends, camping, cooking and partying all from my little skoda fabia; and a cheeky getaway to Spain in reading week to catch some February vitamin D. The things that these trips have in common are A. they are lots of fun, B. they have been meticulously organised and carried out, and C. they are done on the most strict student budget you can imagine. My goal for the hockey tour 2024 is to tick all of these boxes, whilst also creating a safe and reliable environment where people can feel comfortable with the company and activities. A balance of nights out, interesting day trips and chilling by the beach are key. UCL hockey prides itself in having great team bonding relations and I would be excited to help develop these further.
