Ashley Seah

Hi everyone, I’m Ashley and I’m a first-year Geography student running for Secretary in this year’s election! I’ve always loved learning about and being in nature, and you can often find me exploring the many offshore islands back home in Singapore, trudging through the forests and hanging out on its white-sand beaches. Joining the hiking club was an obvious decision for me, and every hike here has offered new and breathtaking sights, all while allowing me to meet some of my best friends at university, bonding over our shared love for the great outdoors. This fun-filled and transformative experience is what I hope to also make possible for others by getting directly involved in the running of the club!

I am a highly organised and detail-oriented individual, and you can definitely count on me for all things admin. As Secretary, I would ensure that all events are planned meticulously and run smoothly. Having served in various executive committee roles throughout my years in school, I am well-versed in working in a team to carry out such duties seamlessly. As an international student, I also believe my diverse cultural background has given me a broad outlook and an ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I am committed to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the club, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued. I believe my skills and knowledge will help the club hike to new heights!
