For me, handball in UCL is more than just a sport - it's about the fun and sense of belonging that comes with being a part of a team. This year, I have already experienced a strong sense of belonging and warmth that comes from being a part of this community. I understand the challenges of joining a new society and starting a new sport, therefore, I am committed to making new members feel at home and welcomed within our community.
Despite being new to handball, I have actively participated in most training and social sessions. I am passionate about passing on this dedication and enthusiasm to others in our community next year.
I understand that the role of captain requires excellent organizational and communication skills. I believe that I am capable of taking on these responsibilities and making a positive impact on our society next year. I have previous experience as a captain, and I am confident in motivating and inspiring others to participate in handball and join our community.
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to our handball society. I am dedicated to inspiring more people to play handball and join our family. I am confident that I can make a positive impact as captain :)
Hey everyone!
As a beginner handball player I am not entirely sure I am the best suited for this role but I will gladly do my best if no one else is eager to do it.
I think that some of the most important things within a team are communication and support and as a captain I would do my best to foster this within the women's team. I would try to make the team a welcoming space where everyone feels safe to learn and thrive. I would also love to contribute to setting up games with other teams in order to fulfill this goal.
Ultimately, I would love to have a part in building up our team both on and off the court and help us learn but most importantly enjoys ourselves as a team!
