Literature is the flame; from the ashes rises the monologue of an impassioned poet. My name is Zelong Qin, who has a poet's heart inside; and was the sponsorship executive in the UCL Guild Society last year. I successfully helped my division build a sponsorship relationship with Macquarie Group, Credit Suisse, and Bank of America this school year. I can promise my sponsorship experience will help me do well in the position of head of sponsorship; I will keep the relationship with our current sponsors and help our society to find more sponsors from various fields. If you trust me, please vote for me

Beatrice Soresina

Hi! I'm Beatrice and I'm running for Head of Sponsorship at Guild.

Being such a large career hub, the Guild is very attractive under a sponsorship point of view, and its members greatly benefit them to act as a navigation tool across industries.

I have shown to have a good communication and time management skills by being first year rep of Women in Finance and BASCSoc, an important skill for this position.

My top 3 goals for the Guild relationships with their sponsors include:

  • Increasing the range of sub-industries of the sponsors: including ESG sponsors, technology and innovation.
  • Host more events, panels, mentorships directly linked with our sponsors. Especially in the fields where students majorly need help in (investment banking, consulting, fintech)
  • Grow and establish the current relationships with sponsors

Supporting students by building strong and established relationship with sponsors is my priority, to enable passionate students to achieve their dream careers.

Daniel L Clarke

Hi everyone,

I have decided to stand for the UCL Guild Head of Sponsorship role because I believe that I can continue to develop and use this opportunity to grow the UCL Guild.

Having been the Sponsorship Executive for the UCL Guild over the past year, I have managed to experience some of the different roles within this division, whether through meetings with sponsors such as Macquarie, Bank of America and Credit Suisse or by helping the Events Team to organise and host a variety of events that have included networking sessions, dinners, CV workshops, etc. Furthermore, this opportunity has allowed me to develop the fundamental skills such as professionalism, teamwork and proactivity that are required to succeed in this division.

My aim for the upcoming academic year is to help the Guild become more inclusive by hosting unique events that will attract members from a wide range of backgrounds. I will endeavour to ensure that the interests of our members are prioritised by sending out regular surveys to our members so that they can help influence the direction of Guild events.

I would love to take responsibility and have the chance to become the Head of Sponsorship for the UCL Guild, because I believe that with your support I will be able to collaborate with all of our members to help shape the Guild and allow it to achieve its potential!
