German Society: President

Liebe Mitglieder unserer Society,

Having been involved with the Society for the past two years - as a First-Year Representative and then as Treasurer - I was able to gain deep insights into the structure and organisation of our Society, how we manage events and interact with the Students' Union. Now I want to use this experience to lead the Society as the next President and ensure the best possible experience for our members. Together with a strong and dedicated committee, I aim to prioritise the continuation of our outstanding events, for instance the Oktoberfest, our Stammtische and the language classes. Building on existing cooperations such as the Intercollegiate Stammtische or Fasching, my goal is also to further enhance ties with other cultural societies at UCL and other German societies from UK universities. Additionally, I believe that the introduction of speaker events and presentations with high-profile German personalities, businesses and the German embassy would be an amazing value-add for our members.
