First Year

Tony Su

Hello, I'm Tony, and I'm running for VP of FinTech's Research division! I’ve had the pleasure of being this year’s first-year representative of the research division and I’ve immensely enjoyed collaborating with the FTR team in producing insightful articles on the latest trends and developments in the industry.

Diversification
To attract a broader audience, I suggest incorporating new content mediums like YouTube videos or podcasts in the FTR. These media can simplify and break down complex FinTech concepts, published articles, and events in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, we plan to supplement these videos or podcasts with summaries of all previous articles in the first and second terms.

FinTech’s Presence
To expand the FTR's reach, I'll collaborate with Marketing through engaging social media campaigns and establishing a physical presence on campus. We'll set up stands manned by specialists to educate readers about FinTech and attract new ones, demystifying the field's concepts.

Collaboration
FinTech's scope is limitless. By partnering with other journals, we aim to raise awareness about the application of finance, technology, in even areas such as climate change or ancient board games. Our goal is to dispel the notion that FinTech is only for tech-savvy individuals and instead highlight its practicality and prevalence in our daily lives.

I thank you for your time, and I hope with your support, we can continue improving the FTR and the FinTech society!
