Tess Haddad Meerson
Who am I?
I’m Tess and I am a first year law student here at UCL!
Why I would be good fit for the position:
As a new international student, social media was my first touchpoint with the society, and the reason why I became involved with it. I love film, and would love to continue the amazing job that has been carried out!
I have already held a marketing position and am familiar with the workload it entails. Further, as a creative person at ease with communication tooIs, I would aim to combine both in managing the platforms!
What do I hope to achieve if elected?
My n°1 goal is to carry on the brand that has been curated over the years whilst enhancing both the internal & external communication.
I would aim to:
- make the platforms even more interactive, adding onto its “informational” purpose. This would be done mainly through games & frequent interactions with the followers.
- give the opportunity for members to be involved and share their passion through the platforms. The intention would not for it to be burdensome, but allow for an even more flourishing & stimulating image to the society!
The overarching goal would be to have people reaching out the account frequently, and build a common tool to all members.
In all:
Such a big society can sometimes appear very intimidating, especially to new members. I hope to make the platforms into a fun experience, which can make anyone feel included and involved, be it simply on a virtual level!
