Olivia Skingsley

Hey everyone! I am Olivia and I want to be your UCL Entrepreneurs Welfare Officer (better known as Vice President).

I am familiar with the inner workings of this society since I was a proactive Business Game executive and Bloomsbury Ventures director. Additionally, I have previously been Vice President of another UCL society, which means I know exactly what the role demands and how to run a society to maximise its benefits for our members.

I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs to achieve their full potential, and I believe that as Welfare Officer, I can make a meaningful impact in the following ways:

  1. Relevant & Current Topics: Discussing more modern entrepreneurial themes and areas of opportunity, including blockchain, web 3 and bitcoin
  1. Different Events: Creating new flagship events and regular speaker talks for a broader range of members, such as a social enterprise conference
  1. Collaboration: Maintaining the professional connection our society has to global entrepreneurs and companies that share our values and goals, as well as improving collaboration with UCL Innovation & Enterprise and other relevant societies
  1. Committee Restructuring: Adapting committee organisation to optimise workflow, reduce bottlenecks and streamline communication channels

I believe that I can bring my ambition and experience to the table to help our society inspire, catalyse, and grow our community.

I would really appreciate your vote!
