Hello everyone!
I'd like to put my experience in event management at the service of the society. I have a 3+ years experience in events, not only musical events and clubs but also corporate events. I am currently hosting events at Kadies club and Green Room Maddox in London as well has having my event management company in Italy and Ibiza. My past experiences include organising events for collectives such as Gypsy Tales, Isola di Mortorio, Ufeel, MaybeTomorrow and Ibiza Boat Club.
You know what to do ;)
When I look around, I see motivated, driven individuals with ingenious ideas sparking through visions of their businesses. As one of the leaders of the Entrepreneurs Society, I would be committed to helping the society grow and thrive, so it can continue to provide a platform for its members to learn, gain experiences, and receive support for achieving their goals. With my extensive background working with businesses both big and small, I believe I possess valuable knowledge that can benefit this organisation.
My vision for the society is one of expansion and potential. I aspire to expand the society’s reach by forming more partnerships with successful businesses and organisations, creating new opportunities for members to network and gain knowledge. I want to increase the frequency and variety of the opportunities that the society has to offer. I also aspire to introduce new innovative programs and initiatives that will ensure our members’ success, including but not limited to more workshops, case study competitions, in-house business development programs and speaker events.
I am dedicated to ensuring that society is functioning efficiently and effectively while reflecting the goals and aspirations of each member of the organisation. With my vision, dedication and passion, I am confident that I can help the society reach its full potential. It’s going to be an adventure. I am in for the ride if you are.
Hey there!
My name is Edward, and as you might expect, I’m immensely passionate about entrepreneurship. Having been a committee member of UCL Entrepreneurs since from my first year at UCL, I would love to grow my contribution to the society in the role of Director of Events.
To quote a Cliché, “entrepreneurs will change the world”. Cringe as it might be to say, it is entirely true, forming the basis for my love of entrepreneurship, and my drive to propagate entrepreneurialism to the UCL student body.
Entrepreneurship has long been a big part of my life. I currently work at a venture backed PropTech start-up alongside my degree. Going back in time, while in high school I won the Junior Achievement Australia Company of the Year Award with a bamboo fashion sock venture. After graduating school, I worked full time at a start-up real estate agency, selling 66 homes over two years. More recently I helped run the Kickstart program, worked part time at UCL’s Innovation and Enterprise department and am a student partner at Entrepreneurs First.
This past year I was UCLE’s director of sponsorship and external relations. Through this role I brought in thousands of pounds worth of sponsorships and helped orchestrate numerous events. I now seek to focus my efforts on the events team, leveraging my network to bring in high profile guests from whom our student body can learn.
I can’t wait to see what we achieve together over the next year!
