Hi everyone! I have been a part of Enactus UCL since being a fresher. This year, I went on to serve as the project leader of Bloomsbury Creative (one of the many amazing Enactus projects!). My entire journey with Enactus UCL has been very rewarding as I learnt so much about social entrepreneurship and running sustainable businesses. It would be my pleasure to take on this position and contribute to the growth of UCL's very own social enterprises!

As the HR Director and Welfare Officer, my main responsibility is to help with recruitment for the society and our projects while ensuring the safety and well-being of all of our members. If I'm elected, I aim to:

  • Host more events and socials to foster bonding among members and projects
  • Increase our social media presence to help with recruitment
  • Monitor a Google form that would allow members to make anonymous submissions with regard to welfare issues

Hello! I’m Anushka, an Economics student passionate about sustainability and making an impact in our world. My interests led me to write a research paper for the ‘World Resources Institute’ on increasing non-motorized transport towards the goal of building sustainable cities.

Participating in a global entrepreneurship program, I experienced how rewarding it is to launch new ideas. Combining my two interests together, I was drawn to Enactus and its mission of social entrepreneurship. I have experienced the hardships of launching new products, working in a team amidst diverse opinions and finding the right product-market fit. For this reason, I wish to help others with their journey and am running for the role of HR Director.

If elected as HR director, I will:

  1. Be the first point of contact for all members, and provide assistance regarding any individual, team or society-related issues.
  2. Increase member engagement through active recruiting, organising more events, and ensuring new members are onboarded with ease.
  3. Smoothen communication between members and the committee.
  4. Create a safe, collaborative and supportive environment to grow Mission Enactus

As the founder of my high school’s Economics Club, I developed strong communication, social and event-organising skills. I am a team player, receptive to others’ ideas and suggestions and dedicated to the cause. Through this role, I hope to make your experience with Enactus UCL more enjoyable, engaging and fulfilling.
