Electronic Music Society: Head of DJs

I started DJing in January 2023, and have very quickly fallen in love with it. It is a fantastic and fun hobby to be interested in, and keeping it accessible in EMS is very important. I would like to continue the open decks and DJ lessons, and really push for EMS members to start DJing. I am interested in tutoring the lessons and helping people to build their skills to play things like open decks, and then eventually the EMS club nights (Corsica, Dalston, etc.). I think giving members opportunities to DJ at other events around London is something that can be pushed, and that I would be eager to try to enable this. DJing is a fantastic way to show one's appreciation for music, and it fits into the electronic scene seamlessly. I would be very happy and excited to take on the role of Head of DJs.
