Being part of Drama society, which is of course the best society, has been a huge amount of fun for me the past year. Equally, however, it has taught me so much about both the onstage and backstage processes that go into creating a production. Becoming Head of Production would be a great opportunity to allow the society to focus even more time on finding the best external venues for our productions. When I directed my small play in the Camden People's Theatre, the venue made such a huge impact on the final performance. Being able to put on productions in such a beautiful and intimate black box theatre is an opportunity that we are incredibly lucky to have and hopefully we can get even more productions into the perfect space to captivate the audience and enthuse the production team.

Organisational aspects of making sure shows have a producer and have easy communication links to Stage Crew are also crucial to the smooth running of a production. I hope that I can bring my experience in  positions requiring leadership and organisational skills to help this process run efficiently and give UCL Drama the best possible route to putting on all the incredible productions that have been put on during my time at UCL.
