Dodgeball Club: Treasurer

Having founded the student-led project Open Space Development, I have developed the skills necessary to effectively reach out to external organizations, purchase supplies, and ensure timely submission of necessary forms. As a member of the women's dodgeball team seeking to lead the society next year, I am confident that I possess the expertise required for the treasurer position.

I understand that my role as treasurer will include reaching out to external venues, paying for competition entry, purchasing new equipment, and ensuring submission of union forms. I am highly aware of my responsibilities and will approach the role proactively with attention to detail, as I have with all my previous commitments.

I thrive in high-paced environments, balancing a first-class honours grade with multiple extracurricular activities, part-time work, and volunteering positions. These experiences have refined my expertises in organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication. Specifically, I have honed my communication skills from my work as an administrative volunteer, assisting asylum seekers in settling down in London through writing emails, recording incidents, and helping with college applications. Moreover, my studies in chemical engineering have strengthened my problem-solving ability, allowing me to approach challenges with a clear and analytical mindset.
