What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
If elected I will ensure that the DSN holds at least one in person social and one online social every week, and that all socials are accessible and cater to dietary requirements. I will make a "mailing list" for people interested so that they can keep updated on the socials in advance (in addition to posting on social media and the What's On Calendar) and collect regular feedback so we can our events even better. I will also try to arrange monthly fundraisers and guest speakers in addition to bonding events (such as quiz nights and speed friendings) so students can make friends!
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
I have been a lot of other committees during my time at UCL and thus this will be essential in organising collabs, which I hope to do lots of. I was also the secretary for the DSN in my first year and the co-DSO in my 2nd, so I have a lot of experience to help the network grow. I also have a lot of experience in hosting events and helping people make friends and that is what I hope to do in my role here.

I will ensure that you are able to meet others and make friends - both online and in person - and I will ensure that you will be attend amazing social events. I promise to be there for you every way that I can be, as a friend or as part of the committee, and I will signpost and help however I can.
