Dementia Research Society: Vice President

As the social officer for 2022-23, I have been a part of UCL Dementia Research Society for a while. I’ve seen and taken part in how the committee works to organise and manages interesting academic talks and fun socials. I also have experience in being a Vice President for UCL Bangla Society, so I am aware of the responsibilities that come with it, and can say that I possess the social and effective skills that the VP of UCLDRS would need. Being a neuroscience undergraduate, I am also  very passionate about the neural mechanisms underlying dementia and Alzheimer’s, and am hoping to be able to bring as many reputable professionals in the field to provide us with more knowledge about their research and potential career options in this rapidly transforming field! 
 My past skills in several management positions, namely as VP of Bangla Society, Sponsorship Officer of UCL Anatomy Society and Social Officer of UCL DRS would allow me to be a good vice president for 2023-24!
