Cycling Club: Welfare Secretary

Hi, my name is Margot Hodgkinson and I am a second year Law student running to continue in the role of Welfare Secretary. After joining the club at the start of the year I’ve been involved in leading rides and even taking part in a few races. 

As Welfare Secretary, I would hope to continue to develop and grow the friendly and social atmosphere of the cycling club and aim to get as many people involved as possible. Additionally, I am always happy to help with any concerns or queries any member of the club might have. 

I am specifically passionate about leading rides for a wide variety of abilities and generating an inclusive atmosphere.

Furthermore, I undertook first aid training this year and would be able to help with the safety aspect of the club. Additionally I hope to apply for Welfare Funding in order to host some great events for UCL cycling such as a bike mechanic workshop. 

I’m excited to continue as an active member of the UCL Cycling Club and contribute in any way I can to it’s future development.
