I believe that my skills and experiences will allow me to thrive in the role and thus contributing to the society. Through being a Project Leader for UCL Hospital Fun Team, I have successfully recruited 15 volunteers. This was achieved through initial marketing at 2 recruitment fairs. To ensure a higher engagement rate, an information session was organised. Throughout recruitment process, I have learnt relationship-building and communication skills to retain talents and ensure all required training was satisfied. I developed my problem-solving skills through a problem between our volunteers and the partner organisation. Due to lack of funding, partner organisation only had the capacity to organise one training event, however, due to timetable clash, our volunteers were not able to complete this. I resolved the situation by persuading partner organisation to take up funding from SU.
