Comedy Club: Welfare Officer

Hi my name is Nikita and I’m a big fan of comedy and stand up (especially satire and dark humour). Personally, I care a great deal about wellbeing and mental health. A lot of us hit the ground running at the start of uni worrying about socialising and getting used to a new environment on top of grades, and additional worries about our future pile on as we progress through uni. Of course, life also likes to throw us some curveballs along the way. I am extremely empathetic and would do my best to ensure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable, and soothe any worries to the best of my ability, so that the club could provide some reprieve from the stresses of university life. I’m really friendly and always willing to talk, and would be willing to help anyone with their concerns to the best of my ability.
