Solomon Sherif

Hi my name is Solomon and I would like to be your social secretary next year. You can usually find me at Phineas on Wednesday before going to the iconic Scala for UCL sports night. As social secretary next year, I will make sure we have as many opportunities as possible to have fun during the year through socials. Since we have a few different teams that train separately, it's so important that we have plenty of opportunities for everyone to integrate and meet people from other teams. I would like to get everyone in UCL Lighting Cheerleading more involved in our social activities and plan to hopefully do this in a few ways.

What do I want to achieve?

Let our members speak – I want as many suggestions in terms of potential social ideas, themes, games or joint socials as possible! I know this is a great way for members to feel they have a voice and are included.

Sober socials – I want to make sober socials more popular by coming up with ideas that could attract more people to come like afternoon tea for example.

Joint socials – I want to collaborate with more UCL sports clubs to allow our members to make as many friends as possible.

Best dressed – I think it's great when members put effort into their costumes for themed nights so I want to congratulate and acknowledge those members with awards.
