Business Society: Marketing Vice President

I am Tong, an undergraduate student. As a first-year executive of the business society, I have developed a concrete understanding of the marketing division at BizSoc. Having talked to several committee members, I believe I have several personal strengths that I could bring to the marketing division:

1. Marketing experiences: At 17, I successfully raised over 12 thousand pounds worth of sponsors for a tournament I founded. From this, I have acquired substantial experience on advertising an event and on means to maximize its exposure. I am confident that these skills will be helpful for publicizing business society’s events.
2. Leadership skills: Working as the chairman of several institutions helped me to practice my leadership skills. These will help me properly coordinate responsibilities for each executive for an event and keep the morale up within the division. 
3. Photography skills: Having worked as the PhotoSoc Events Team Officer, I have gathered ample experience in event photography. I believe this would improve the quality of materials needed for publicizing the society.

If elected, I will focus on realizing the following vision:
1. Securing existing members and reaching out to more potential members to join the society to expand the society,
2. Securing high-quality speakers for marketing events.
3. Expand our publicity to more social media platforms.
